'Red Paint' is the title of the draft summary report of the Review of Corporate Equality Consultation Arrangements. The full report will be available soon.
In November 2005 the guest speaker at the AGM at Centenary House was Doug Alker whose talk was called The Partnership between Deaf people and hearing people. A modified version of this talk was printed in the British Deaf Association magazine Sign Matters. Doug has agreed to its being printed here. It is called Pursuing the Vision.

HM Customs and Excise have produced two booklets about VAT.
One is called Reliefs for disabled people which gives useful information about which goods and services for disabled people are zero-rated for VAT. It includes a copy of the declaration you need to give to the supplier of those goods and services.
It is Notice 710/7 August 2002.

Every Disabled Child Matters is a campaign by four leading organsiations working with disabled children and their families. They want all disabled children and their families to have the right to the services and support they need to lead ordinary lives.
Self care for people with long term conditions provides information, gives case study examples and explains how self confidence can maintain people's independence.
An advisory body has been launched to help achieve equality for disabled people by 2025 - yes 2025. Equality 2025 has 21 disabled staff and will help government departments comply with disability legislation.
