Accessible Tourism: Making it work for your business

The weekend of 30th/ 31st January is the big garden birdwatch. It is an opportunity to sit and watch the birds in your garden - and contribute to a national record of garden birds.

Channel 4 will be broadcasting coverage of the 2012 Paralympic Games. following a 'highly competitive tender process'.This is to be welcomed as there had been concern that the Paralympics would only be available on pay-per-view television.

Ice Cube 2010

Yesterday (Thursday 18th February) was an open session at the IceCube, which those who had told me they wished to attend knew. It was a busy session but very enjoyable for all. While I am pleased when peole turn up who haven't told me they are coming, it really is helpful if you can tell me so we can make sure everyone is happy with the situation.

The Ice Cube returns to Millennium Square in Leeds on Saturday 16th January until Sunday 7th March.

Once again we have been given a session for wheelchair users each Thursday between 10.45 and 11.30 - so the Thursdays will be 21st January, 28th January, 4th February, 11th February, 18th February, 25th February and 4th March

We shall not be trying to break the world record again because no-one has broken our record of 106, so we can just enjoy the sessions.

So that the Ice Cube can have an appropriate number of ice marshalls on duty, please let me know when you are coming.
